Professional Summary

To: Esquire IMAX

                   Hello name is Joel Lumsden
and I am interested in making a career out of the movie theater business. I'm
44 years old, educated and I love movies. I would like to spend the last 20 to
25 years of my working career working in a movie theater.         I'm well educated with an A.A in
psychology, a B.A in liberal studies and a B.A in art. I think that all 3 of
these degrees will be useful to me working in a movie theater. I love art, and I
think that movies are probably the most important art form today. It would be
my pleasure to work in the movie business and learn all that I can to make
myself a model employee.

When I was 19 I was a shift manager at
a Round Table pizza for 1 year. Between the ages of 30 to 37 was in charge of a
group of juvenile delinquents every saturday and sunday. Both of these
experiences have taught me how to lead, when and when not to use the authority of position. I
think that I will make a competent manager, even though that is not what I am
applying for at this moment. At the moment I would like to just get my foot in
the door. Any entree level position would be great. I would like to work in
every facet of the theater before I apply for an assistant manager position.
For me it is important to have experience in the position I am asking my fellow
employee to perform.

Other aspects of my character that will
help me be a model employee for your company is that I believe in work. Getting
to work early and staying late if needed is no problem for me. Calling in sick
should only be done if my sickness is contagious and endanger other employees
and customers. I can work holidays and weekends and will be on the ready if the
theater needs help and calls me to come in on a moment notice. I'm mobile and
can work just about anywhere, which includes others state if desired.

I'm very excited to be embarking on this
new direction in my life and can't wait to get started. Thank you for time and
God Bless.

Joel Lumsden.
