  • conducted all earthquake, fire and lockdown drills

  • Planned and facilitated school-wide assemblies for: Pink Shirt Day, Remembrance Day, Monterey's Centennial celebration, Me to We presentations, school spirit themes, Recognition for Athletic/Academic/Fine Arts contributions

  • Co-planned professional development opportunities for staff in conjunction with the Principal, staff committee and interested staff; sessions focussed on Inquiry-based Learning, the new BC Curriculum, Assessment, Outdoor learning and Technology

  • Coordinated and scheduled the school-wide enrichment program ("Brainstorm") once a week for nine weeks in the fall and spring each year

  • Coordinated with the school counsellor to bring the following guest presenters to Monterey each year: Grief and Loss (Gr. 7's), Suicide Awareness (Gr. 8's) and Sexual Health lessons for the entire students body
