Accomplished and energetic financial professional with a solid history of achievement in financial services. I am motivated with strong organizational and prioritization abilities. I worked with individual investors for three years helping make investment decisions for their portfolios until the tech bubble burst, stock market crash. It was this crash that gave me the opportunity to get into the mortgage industry. I enjoyed five years in the mortgage industry guiding individual home owners to a stronger financial future, then the sub-prime mortgage melt down occurred and the industry all but disappeared and I had to find a new career. The oil and gas industry was taking off in the Dallas area with the Barnett Shale activity and I got a job being a landman researching mineral ownership. It was only eight months later that the price of natural gas fell to levels to low to be profitable for the oil companies and there was no longer a need for landmen. The fact that the last three careers that I had were in industries that ended up in downturns made me reevaluate what new career path I should take. Hence, I went back to school full time to pursue a double major in Finance and Accounting and then on to graduate school to attain an MS in Accounting. I am looking forward to using my skills in the field of finance.
