Read specifications such as blue prints to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures, train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures and company policies. Record information such as production or operational data on specified forms or reports. Arrange correct maintenance of traffic (MOT) devices, such as signs, drums, barricades and barrier walls. Knowing and applying a safe work zone for employees, this includes trenching and shoring experience as well as OSHA compliant. Performed activities such as storm drain installation, water and sewer (gravity and force main) installation, digging retention ponds, swells and ditches on the DOT right of way. Can finish grade with a motor grader and bull dozer. All of the above mentioned items have been executed on DOT widening projects, and or new roadway installation as well as parking lots, drive ways etc, etc.

Can read blue prints, figure grades (elevations) in tenths and hundredths and/or feet and inches.
