Led the MUOS proposal in a teaming relationship with Lockheed Martin Space Systems. GDDS proposed the Integrated Ground solution including the satellite command and control, earth terminals and voice and data communication systems. GDDS also proposed the User Entry waveform for use with in-service radio terminals. Led the team that participated with LM at their facilities to develop the detailed proposal. GDDS/LM won the proposal. As the Deputy PM for MUOS, developed the detailed day to day work flow and process. Incorporated metrics and PM process for detailed status reporting with internal LM oversight at GD. The internal focus for MUOS was on getting GD to think “systems” rather than “subsystem” and to navigate through a large and complex IPT program with multiple suppliers.
Held several positions in both Line and Program Management; including Director of Ground Systems and Software Engineering, GPS IIF Program Manager, AEHF Program Director, Thuraya Satellite Program Manager and Director of Engineering for Digital Processor Satellite Systems.
