  • Responsibility for quality data entry of identified publications and references into the e-Pub database in a timely manner to facilitate and track the electronic review and approval process.  
  • Served as the first line of contact regarding review and approval of all publication related documents by answering queries via telephone, email, and/or fax; communicating Public Disclosure Request Review and Approval feedback to publication author/requestors via the e-Pub system.  
  • Proactively monitored the review and approval timelines of ongoing publications in the database to meet target dates (responsible for sending reminders and promoting the timely completion of reviews and approvals ongoing in the e-Pub system). 
  • Supported gathering of information for journal/congress selection as appropriate/applicable. 
  • Professionally represented Scientific Communications department in response to external and internal publication related queries/metric or report requests. 
  • Worked collaboratively with other Scientific Communications department members to update and maintain the e-Pub database in all MEDI therapeutic areas. 
  • Prepared agendas, meeting tools and trackers for Scientific Communication team meetings. 
  • Responsible for developing, distributing, and communicating the details of MEDI publication tracking reports/metrics at Scientific Communication meetings. 
  • In conjunction with e-Pub database business owner, responsibile for onboarding/training for new Scientific Communications department members for activities related to e-Pub database, as needed. 
  • Ensured final published versions are sent to the corporate library for maintenance of publication bibliographies. 
  • Assisted with metrics on PDR submissions and other information on an as needed basis, with appropriate Manager/AD review and final approval of content. 
  • Maintenance of e-Pub e-files and hard copy files. 
  • Facilitated external travel support and expense reimbursement, when appropriate. 
  • Updated DV record citations using MIS and OVID alerts for therapeutic area.
