Joined Sperry Van Ness Southland Commercial Real Estate in April 2014, specializing in Resort Development and Business Brokerage, as well as Commercial Sales.
The opportunity to join SVN was do to their need for the disciplines of someone who had the background and experience in both Business Brokerage and Resort Development Sales, to form that addition Team.The discipline specialties regarding both Business Brokerage and Resort Property, was working with Golf Courses since the early 80's as a Consultant on over 100 Golf Course projects throughout the US and abroad.
As the Commercial Sales Mgr. I was responsible for that division which had 12 Broker & Sales Associates. Each Associate had their own discipline such as Industrial, Office, Retail, Hospitality, Resort Development and Business Brokerage.
My division produced between $50 and $100 Million in sales on an annual basis, working predominantly in NW Florida but, also within other US states by referring Brokers from the CB Network.
By joining Coldwell Banker United, it expanded that division greatly by adding the Business Brokerage discipline to their Team, which allowed them to take advantage of a New resource for additional sales from their existing client base.
This one additional discipline opened many doors for my Team, that virtually would have remained closed without the Business Brokerage experience and knowledge.
Joined Keller Williams due to the economy slow down, which forced me to close my own Brokerage Firm in 2009.
My responsibility was to develop a New Commercial Division for the local Keller Williams franchise, and also incorporate the Business Brokerage discipline within this division.
This division was started with only 3 Associates, and grew to 15 well trained Licensed commercial agents in less than 2 years. All of the Business Brokerage transactions were to be closed only through me, since I was the only Certified and insured Broker to do those transactions within the company.
Business & Commercial Brokerage Inc. was formed to give Pensacola and the NW Florida region it's second Business Brokerage Firm.
Although our main focus was Business Brokerage, we were also well versed and Licensed to sell commercial real estate, which went and hand with most Business Brokerage transactions.
This firm was started with myself and 2 other Brokers, in the down town area of Pensacola, and succeeded for 14 out of a total of 15 years. The firm had a total of 9 Certified Business Brokers at it's peak, reaching sales between $25 to $50 Million annually.
Back in that era of time, we were not stopped from working in other surrounding States, which at that time did not require us to have a state real estate license to sell businesses in their state. This allowed us the freedom to cross state lines and do business unchallenged, which helped us grow our business and our Network in other areas.
I was forced to close this Brokerage in 2009, due to the Economy slow down which affected our market drastically.
Before starting this Brokerage firm, I was awarded my Real Estate License in 1988, and worked for Re Max Horizons in Pensacola as an sales agent specializing in High end Waterfront Condos located on Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key until 1994, when I launched my Business Brokerage.
