I have declined working 'on the road' in the past due to wanting to stay near my children. They're grown now. I was offered the position of safety person with Jennings-Dill, and have found that I actually enjoy it. With this company, I'm assured that it is a temporary position. I'd like to further my education and qualifications in this position and I believe that with my experience, I can offer a more broad perspective than I've seen in the past from others.

Maintenance contract worker at a manufacturing facility. Skills required included sheet metal and piping fabrication, as well as welding. Primarily moved and set up production cells/machinery. Electrical installation as well.

Responsible for installation of piping systems-gas, process, potable water. Including solder, threaded, weld joints. Sheet metal-ordering, fabrication, installation. -Fell from ladder and broke leg 11/2016. Two surgeries to repair. Was basically pushed out after returning to full duty. I really liked this job.

Lead crew in installation of HVAC duct at phase 1 of Quality Tissue plant in Anderson, S.C. Project was completed, I was laid-off. I returned to this company twice after when things were slow at Teacher Mechanical, and remain in contact with a couple of superintendents at this company.

Worked on BMW's North Assembly Plant with Gray as the general contractor for a year and a half. Installed HVAC for A.J.Whittenburg Elementary School in Greenville SC. Closed out four other jobs for this company as it closed it's operation in the Greenville area. Was offered position in Raleigh, NC, but declined.

Started here as a cook. Promoted to bartender within 3 months. Learned a lot about relating with all sorts of people, crowd control, and diffusing difficult situations. A great learning experience!

Started here as a helper and earned pipefitter qualifications over time. Learned a lot from the 'old hands'. Most of those men are returned or have passed. Company suffered financial difficulties and sold out. I moved out west at that point.
