Professional Summary

I am one of the first proud graduates of Pūnana Leo ʻO Lahaina and with that being said I have years and years of experience in our Hawaiian culture and language. Following Pūnana Leo I then went to Kula Kaiapuni ma Nahiʻenaʻena and then to Lahainaluna where I continued to take my Hawaiian language courses. My dream was to become a professional Hula dancer, where I can express feelings and our culture through dance. I am now looking into going to UHMC to become a Kumu no ka papa ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi. My goal in life is to be able to teach and educate not only my daughter but every upcoming generation of who we are as nā poʻe Hawaiʻi and to continue on our Hawaiian culture whether it may be through hula, mele, oli, ʻŌlelo .... a pēlā aku. I have an outgoing personality and enjoy working with keiki.
