The early years of my career was mostly Pediatric and Pediatric Critical Care, in a Tri-State Trauma Center, caring for children post NICU, post open heart surgery babies to 21 yr olds. 

The last few yrs in Christiana Hospital was in Ambulatory Surgery Unit. In this position assisted MD's with special bedside procedures, ie: bronchoscopy, burn dressings, chest tube insertions etc. 

In 1998, I relocated to upstate NY. Since then have worked in PACU at St. Peter's Hospital Albany, NY, Cardiac Care Unit, Case Management in Amsterdam Memorial, St. Mary's Hospital Amsterdam, NY working with MDs, hospital staff and therapists, and outside agencies to insure safe discharge plans.the most recent position as a Hospice Case Manager in Saratoga Springs, NY 2003, working with Nursing Home MDs and staff in care of dying patients. This job was an interdisciplinary approach (including supervising home health aides and complementary therapists, inservicing facility staff in care of dying and symptom control) to provide supportive comfort care and anticipatory guidance for patients and families through dying process.

Education
Associate of Science : Nursing Jan 1978 The Catholic Medical of Brooklyn and Queens Jamaica, , NY I received a Nursing Diploma Jan. 1978, but this was not an option on the education selection. This program transitioned from a 3 yr to 2 yr and I believe after graduation the school associated with a local community college for Associate Degree.
In 1980, I attended University of Delaware and took a few courses.
In 2009, I took 2 on-line courses through Excelsior College, NY state.
One of my goals is to continue with my Education and obtain a Bachelor's degree.
