  • Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
  • Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance.

  • Investigate complaints, disturbances and violations and resolve problems following management rules and regulations.
  • Manage and oversee operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of commercial, industrial, or residential properties.

  • Meet with boards of directors and committees to discuss and resolve legal and environmental issues or disputes between neighbors.
  • Solicit and analyze bids from contractors for repairs, renovations, and maintenance. Review rents to ensure that they are in line with rental markets.
  • Prepare and administer contracts that limit liability for provision of property services such as cleaning, maintenance, and security services
  • Contract with architectural and design firms to draw up detailed plans for building renovations
  • Prepare training budget for department or organization.
  • Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
  • Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for staff members.
  • Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
