• Manage validation of product/system design for program specific vehicle interior trim (IP, Consoles, Hang on Trim, Door Panels).  This includes development testing, design evaluation, Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) evaluation, establishment of requirements, and creation of Engineering Bill of Materials.
• Develop process and manufacturing feasibility for internal and customer requirements. 
• Lead Product Validation process according to customer ADVP&R (Analysis/Development/Validation Plan and Report). 
• Lead activity to obtain PPAP on time from customer for all saleable parts. 
• Delivered SSP PPAP Package on time for first time in company history. 
• Manage all changes made following initial design release
• Work with other functions of the product team to ensure customer requirements are being met through the launch of the program.
• Define requirements and release drawings (GD&T) for parts outsourced to suppliers.
• Continuously investigate potential cost savings ideas. 
• Maintain working relationship and dialogue with all customer functions, but specifically the Design Release Engineer(s).
