Develop and prepare monthly EMS QA/QI Data Reports for review by Medical Director and Chief Officers. 
Complete and submit as needed to the State Medical Review Committee – Patient Care QA Incident Report and Extraordinary Care Protocol documentation for review.

Develop and prepare monthly statistic report to the Chief of the Department.
Under the QA Officer Roles and Responsibilities training it is part of the QA plan required by COMAR for the QA Officer to not only review data concerning patient care, provide remedial action to resolve any patient care issues addressed at EMS operational level, identify violations of Maryland Medical Protocols for EMS Providers and notify MIEMSS within 5 days.
Review oral or written allegations that: an EMS provider failed to act in accordance with applicable law or protocols or prehospital care was below applicable standard of care. 
Participate with the Medical Director and Medical Review Committee to carry out the QA plan.  Including the verification process, reviews of QA Plans or reports, affiliation of providers – QA officer must track and verify credentials.
