My husband & I own and operate Monroe's ATA Black Belt Academy.  We started out as students and as we progressed in rank we looked into opened our own school.

Office setting -


Running backgrounds & Entering Criminal information into computer to enter Warrants, Stolen items & other information.


Worked closely with the Municipal Courts, State & County offices and the same in all states. 


Communication was a crucial part of this job in order to enter, receive, and broadcast information.  Time was always of the essence.


State and Federal came in on a yearly basis and did audits on our work, I prided myself on always passing those audits.  (They usually took two or three days to go through everything.)


During the years I have been there I have helped in various other places filling in for the day or week. 

Front Desk - Working with the public

                     Both at the Jail and Courthouse

Print of Public Notices- Any bulletins that needed to be posted were usually my job.

I was promoted to Sergeant and held that position for nearly 20 years.

One Hour Photo that was later integrated into the business. 

Owner flew me to Dallas to learn the machine and how to operate as well as changing and testing chemicals.

This was a small summer job.

I worked down at the print shop when it was across from Benton High School. 


Primarily it was layout of type and images and then sent to be burned into plates for print on T-Shirts.
