Personal assistant to Ms. Judy Dunn. Helped her to start three successful online jewelry businesses. In this role I was responsible for building the websites which consisted of extensive research of the products we were selling, picture taking, and writing detailed descriptions of over 3000+ items. The general layout of each description consisted of certain information such as condition, maker, provenance, origin, composition, size, color, shape and any interesting facts about the maker or item itself. Along with this we worked to advertise and market the products to buyers from all over the world. My work earned increasing profits year over year and helped to build a unique network of customers such as novelist Melanie Ellison (nee Craft) who was married to Oracle CEO Larry Ellison.
Other job responsibilites included physical assistance to help with Ms. Dunn's post-polio handicap. This included taking her to appointments, helping with physical therapy, running errands, cooking, cleaning, landscaping duties, making and recieving calls and helping with pets, kids, and grandchildren. I had to use many different skills such as typing for the online computer work. I displayed strong people skills to message and speak with customers from all over the world. I also used math skills to keep up with financing the business, paying bills, and applying percentage discounts for special sales events and repeat customer bonuses. It helped me to master multi-tasking by performing many different duties within the job as well as handling full-time coursework at Baker University for the first 3 1/2 years of employement.

Helped Employer Dave Johnson manage McPherson Rest Area. Responsibilities included maintenance and management. The duties consisted of cleaning, sweeping, sanitizing, trash pick-up and mowing. I was also responsible for over-seeing two employees that worked under me to make sure that they carried out there specific tasks as directed.

Summer Job before going back to school working for carpenter and business owner Kelly Ingrassia. Our work was to build large ranch style homes. The responsibilities included laying reed bar, shaping concrete, setting up the foundation by cutting and setting up wood, laying and grouting tile, laying floor boards, calking, painting, and shingling. The work involved disciplines such as math to measure and calculate the materials placement to fit within the specified building blueprints. The work required that I be very thorough and cognizant of quality but also that I work quickly and diligently to keep up with specific time marks.
