- Perform emergency diagnostic and treatment procedures, such as stomach suction, airway management, or heart monitoring, in the emergency room and during ambulance ride.
- Assess nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures.
- Attend training classes to maintain certification licensure, keep abreast of new developments in the field, or maintain existing knowledge.
- Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition.
- Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.
- Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients
- Participate in Morbidity and Mortality Reports every month and present cases for evaluation of treatment and diagnostic procedures done in the patient to ensure optimal care.
