Shari;s at the Mall is a very busy location. My arrival was always during the Dinner rush so a fluid shift transition was imperative. After the rush the kitchen became my solo operation. All aspects of providing pleasing appetizing choices from a full and varied menu were my responsibility. My nightly tasks included a full prep schedule as well. Dish machine operation and standard kitchen janitorial tasks were also within my jurisdiction. All areas including the cook's line, dish area, buss stations, walk-ins to be stocked and ready to go for AM shifts arrival.

Jester's was a business concept presented to me and my partner while I was employed as a Bartender at The Spot Bar and Grill. My partner and I leased the kitchen space from the Bar thereby taking all responsibility for the provision of a restaurant quality menu at the Spot. Our menu was successful and we earned a loyal customer following.

Responsibilities include opening the bar and kitchen areas.Cash handling, inventory control, ordering, mixing drinks, short order cooking and stock rotation were part of daily routine. Prepared breakfast and lunch for 65 poker player twice weekly while tending bar. collected cover charges at door on weekend nights and accepted responsibility for checking validity of patrons identification. Linda's Truckstop －
As the third shift Line cook, all responsibilities of food production in a very busy location were assigned to myself. Food prep, stock rotation, short order, dish and janitorial were all on my list of nightly tasks. In my down time I volunteered my services to help prep vegetables and wash dishes for the Subway restaurant that was located within the same building.

Responsible for opening Hot food buffet every morning. Cooked pizzas using conveyor style oven. Chicken and jo-jo's from pressure fryers. Inventory walk-in,stock rotation cold salad line maintenance dish and delivery could be expected every day. My host duties involved Greeting and seating guests, serving drinks and maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for the customers. All registers were counted down at the end of the shift and all servers tipped correctly.
