  • Responsible for the successful delivery of identity and access services (IAS) to a global enterprise.These services include but are not limited to NetIQ Identity Manager suite, Net IQ Sentinel audit solution, NetIQ Access Management reverse proxy, OneLogin Identity as a Service application and Citrix Netscaler SSLVPN solution as well as Symantec VIP Multi factor authentication application.
  • Architect, design and assist with implementing a future state services solution to expand identity and access security within the enterprise.This includes designing a more robust identity system with attribute based access governance, privileged user management solution, digital signatures and certificate solution and a single identity and access services portal.

  • Led a major Identity System upgrade project, moving from NetIQ 3.6 to 4.0.2. As part of this project, the entire system was re-architected to fit with vendor standards and industry best practices, all drivers were updated to latest versions and reviewed to utilize cleaner policies, the Identity system was moved to a validated platform with software quality assurance and tighter security was implemented on the directory structure.The project still finished two months ahead of projected schedule saving the company significant investment costs.
  • Led a project to document the existing NetIQ Access Manager system when the previous administrator left the company. This project included identifying all undocumented connections, determining F5 networking configurations in relation to the Access Management environment, training the IAS team on the AM system and recommending a future state for web based access management and SAML integration that would accommodate current configuration and allow for future cloud based growth.
  • Championed a project to identify and restructure SSLVPN roles within the Access Management system.This allowed for a more streamlined transition from NetIQ SSLVPN solution to Citrix Netscaler.
  • Championed a project to update the NetIQ Access Management solution for internal web server reverse proxy and authentication.As part of this project the entire system was architected to industry standards and a new test environment was implemented.We were able to reduce the overall footprint of the server environment by 70% while adding more robust testing and fail over architecture.
  • Led a project to implement Symantec Validation and Identity Protection two factor authentication in place for VPN solutions for 4000 identified high risk associates and contractors.Implemented new processes for two factor authentication requirements as well as developed system support and end user documentation.
