  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Academy since its inception in 2011. Managed a team of 25 employees whom I hired and trained successfully.
  • Lead, drive and execute the operation of all aspects of the Academy effectively, achieve high customer service and academic excellence, and establish procedures and solve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate and negotiate contracts with clients and local high schools, through referrals and advertising in school newspapers. 
  • Keep the staff adequately informed. Conduct periodic staff meetings as necessary for the proper functioning of the Academy.
  • Perform, every quarter, performance evaluations of staff. Set clear goals and objectives. Follow up and support the staff in their development plan.
  • Work closely with the Owner, on the execution of marketing and sales strategies that will enable the Academy to meet its financial objectives and strategic plan. Ensure budget is managed and controlled effectively as per limits established. Maintain accurate records of P&L.

Avis Budget Group - Dulles, VA
  • In charge of fully operating two multi-million major rental locations, capable of more than 4,000 rentals per week and managing 125 employees between both brands.
  • Since starting as a Shift Manager in 2003, was promoted twice stemming from profit growth in counter sales and ancillary items.
  • Acquired knowledge of car counts, slanting projections, gas logs and profits, and handling employee issues with assistance of Human Resources.
