Field Sales (Execution) Coordinator 07/2009 to 01/2015
AlEn USA - Houston, TX
    In 2009 I was hired in as a Field Sales Merchandiser in Southern California, as AlEn USA started to put their own retail merchandisers into the field. I was the first person selected for this new position at retail for this organization, and within a few months there were two additional  merchandisers added in Southern California and six others across the country. In less than one year I was promoted to a newly formed position that eventually became titled the Field Sales Coordinator. I started off training the other merchandisers on proper store call procedures and other field related duties. I then was given the added responsibility to assist the National Sales Manager on a myriad of duties, one of which was for me to find, interview and hire a third party merchandising company to take over the duties previously handled by the AlEn team. I was then charged with becoming the conduit between AlEn and their 3rd party merchandising team. Besides spending time in the field in Southern California, my position required 50% travel to other major markets for AlEn including the West and Midwest.
  • 2011 - Hired and trained 3rd party merchandising company to represent AlEn at retail in Chicago, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Las Vegas and California
  • 2013 - Ranked among the top 5% of all AlEn employees based on criteria set forth by the National Sales Director and AlEn's Corporate Management Team. 
Retail Operations Manager 01/2006 to 10/2008
Reckitt Benckiser - Parsippany, NJ
    In 2006 I was hired in as the Western U.S. ROM for Reckitt Benckiser's new Retail Management Team. I was selected for the position among several candidates of whom all were RB employees excluding myself, by Senior VP Stafford Dow. I than helped to select and hire 16 new Supervisors for this Management Team. We worked in conjunction with CROSSMARK and their sales reps until early 2007. In February of 2007, I helped to interview and hire the newly formed Reckitt Benckiser Western Sales Force which consisted of 49 Sales Reps who covered 10 Western States from California to Texas.
  • 2008 - Achieved full bonus potential in first half of the year by attaining all goals set forth by RB management: 
               Achieve 85% ACV on new items in 8 weeks.
               Close 90% of Nielsen/WalMart voids by 6/30.
               Achieve 20% increase in TPR's to Displays.
  • 2007 - Achieved full bonus potential by attaining all goals set forth during the first and second half of the year:

               Achieve 80% ACV. on new items in 8 weeks.
               Close 80% of Nielsen/Walmart voids by 12/31.
               Achieve 20% increase in TPR's to Displays.
               Recruit at 90% acceptances completed by 4/30.

  • 2006 - Achieved full bonus potential by attaining all goals set forth during the start up of Reckitt Benckiser's newly formed Retail Management Team.

               Help to hire and train five RSS's for Western U.S.
               Provide clear direction to RSS's and FT RSR's.

               Communicate with KAM's, A.E.'s and RPM's.

    In 1995 I was hired in as a part-time merchandiser by Bradshaw, Inc. After two months I was promoted to a full-time Sales Rep. position on the Vons Retail Team. Approximately one year later I was then promoted to Retail Sales Supervisor. After a CROSSMARK restructure I then took over the same position for all grocery chain stores in the Orange County, California area. In 2003, I was offered and accepted the position of ROM in the Western United States for the newly formed Reckitt Benckiser Dedicated Team.
  • 2005 - CROSSMARK Dedicated Teams ROM of the Year (one of only five recipients nationally).
  • 2002 - CROSSMARK Mark of Excellence Award Winner most outstanding employee for the second quarter in the Southern California division.
