Responsible for managing and training a staff up to 20+ employees and oversight all HealthInformation Management Department functions consistently exceeding department performance goals.      
Served as HIPAA Privacy Officer with accountability of all aspects of the HIPAA Privacy standards including developing policy and procedures, preparing education materials, training and educating all levels of the organization as well as the entire medical staff ( >150 physicians), performing a gap analysis, coordinating compliance audits, and chairing the Privacy/Security Committee.
