I entered IWS in 2001 as an entry level warehouse person. Within a few shorts months, I quickly became the warehouse manager, overseeing as many as 20 employees at any given time.
I stayed at this current position until there was an opportunity to go into purchasing. At this time, I accepted the role of purchasing for IWS. I was the sole purchasing agent for our company for many years. With our continued growth, I was able to bring on a team of category managers and I assumed the role of Director of Purchasing.
From the first moment of going into the office, I had a strong desire to go into sales. I was continually called upon to attend sales meetings, as I was the key source of selecting and putting the programs in place for the meetings. I felt the transition of sales would be a good fit.
