In my eight years spent working as a Developmental Support Aide I enjoyed my job duties in that title. During those years I had the opportunity to observe the DA I and DA 2 perform their job duties while continuing to be proactive in all aspects of the individuals needs with a hands on approach. I discovered soon that I would like to become a supervisor. With the encouragement of the DA 2 I applied for the DA 1 position at RT 31. I was fortunate the position was offered to me. Since becoming a DA 1 I discovered a supervisory position rewarding. With the realization that our agency will forever be a learning experience. My enjoyment of working with developmentally challenged individuals continues to be a rewarding experience. I am passionate, dependable, motivated, organized person who is proactive in assisting each individual to do their best to completes a task or goal, to be proud of their accomplishments and praise them for the effort they put fourth every day. I am proud to be a member of a organization that focuses on developing positive relationships and forming connections to help people with developmental disabilities live richer fuller lives.

Orientates new or supply staff and provides training to meet program needs.
Completes agency reportable, incidence reports as needed.
Follows Time and attendance policies, submits TIMES and ET/OT forms in a timely manner.
Monitors individuals clothing and personal property routinely.
Administers medications and treatments.
