Antarctic Support Company –
Manage all cargo and science cargo movement into and out of Denver headquarters in connection with the U. S. Antarctic research stations- South Pole, McMurdo, Palmer, Research Vessels, and Port Hueneme. Maintain detailed records of all cargo movement. Oversee movement of medical charts and personnel records to the various research stations and vessels. Receive all materials into database and CTS that is delivered to Denver headquarters. Prepare Logistic Department's weekly and monthly metrics reports. Process and maintain all incoming purchase orders. Handle postal mail delivery. Antarctic Support Contractors: Raytheon Polar Services and Lockheed and Martin.
Raytheon Polar Services –
Managed all retail operations for the U. S. Antarctic Program. Duties included hiring, training and scheduling of retail staff members at the three U.S. Antarctic research stations. Managed purchasing, inventory, and financial reporting. Processed monthly sales figures and other periodic reports. Designed and coordinated procurement of souvenir items to be sold at the station stores. Worked in conjunction with the client, National Science Foundation, Polar Services. Turned operation from breaking even to a successful, self-sustaining program.
Logistical Support Contractor
Antarctic Support Associates –
McMurdo Station, Antarctica
Several different positions held during this time period. Positions included Winter-over Supervisor of General Store (responsible for inventory control, staff scheduling, weekly reporting of payroll hours and sales), Remote Field Kitchen Support (prepared daily meals for runway facility personnel), and General Assistant for Operations Department.
Hogan & Hartson, LLP –
Duties included processing library materials received, promptly routing materials to attorneys in the law firm, assisting serials technician in producing and updating routing lists, identifying materials for cataloging, opening and sorting incoming mail, and filing returned books. Supported Information Resource Center staff in all aspects of library services.

Williams Sonoma –
Managed all administrative operations of a top grossing retail outlet. Duties included scheduling and supervision of 18 staff members, shipping and receiving of merchandise, weekly payroll, and maintaining outstanding customer service. Supervised annual store inventory.
