In April of 2004, she served on the panel of judges for the statewide hymn-playing competition at Methodist College. A month later she accepted the position as organ instructor at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She earned her certification in Kindermusik in 2006.
Bachelor of Music: Organ Performance and Piano Minor May 1999 Salem College - Winston-Salem, NC Mary Louise holds the Bachelor of Music Degree in Organ Performance at Salem College, where she studied with Dr. Jack Mitchener and Ms. Barbara Lister-Sink. While she was at Salem, she was an A.J. Fletcher Scholar, a Junior Marshall, and the recipient of the President's Prize in 1999.
