cashier Oct 2014－Present highs － taneytown, md I work at highs 45 of Taneytown md. I love it there my job is to put a smile on make people happy and assist them with any of there shopping in finding things weather its ice, food, drinks, ect. we have to keep a clean store sweeping, moping, wiping down things like.... cabinets, windows, counter tops, ect. another thing we have to do is make sure we have fresh food available and coffee. drinks are filled and stocked cups and lids as well.

laundry Nov 2011－Aug 2014 long view － manchester, md My job at long view nursing home was to do laundry on second shift. The laundry duties were to collect all of the resident dirty linens from the dirty laundry baskets on each floor. There were big gray laundry bins we would have to use to go up to each floor to collect to put in our bins. We would have to collect every hour on the hour for 8 hours of our shift. Our laundry department was located on the basement floor. We had two sides to the laundry we had the clean side witch was where we had dryers and all of our clean laundry at and we also had carts that we would store certain laundry on those carts. These carts had to be counted the counting I mean everything that was on these carts had to be counted the towels, wash cloths, pads, briefs, protectors/ bibs , ect. The dirty side was used for washing the linens and separating the clothing like the sheets andtowelsgot washed together and then the residents personal clothing got all washed together in a separate washer from the towels and wash clothes and sheets. then the hoyers got washed on personal settings but separate from the personals like the residents laundry. Petty much all the job duties and making sure things are cleaned and dryer lint is cleaned out at the begning and ending of every shift as well. and changing chemicals every so often when there getting low for the washers to clean all the laundry.

My job was to care for the residents we would each have 12-14 residents to take care of . I loved my job it was a great opportunity for me to do that kind of work . This was good for me one reason because I love helping people and making them happy and helping them for what is best for them in life. The jobs and duties there were to make sure they were changed , turned every two hours, dressing them, help feeding them, assist them with daily activity. taking them for walks exercise . bathing them making sure there confterable .
