  • As a member of the 151MXS Inspection Dock I was involved in the Isochronal Inspections, Hourly Post-Flight Inspections, Home Station Checks, Special Inspections, PDM Extension Inspections and Mid-Cycle Inspections.
  • Throughout the inspection process I would troubleshoot, repair and maintain aircraft.
  • I have removed, installed and modified aircraft equipment and components in accordance with applicable Technical Orders as well as serviced components and systems as indicated in the Work Cards.
  • I have also inspected, modified and maintained ground support equipment within the Iso Dock.
  • Following Technical publications, I inspect electrical, hydraulic and fuel systems on the KC-135 Aircraft, troubleshoot problems, and repair and maintain the aircraft.
  • Using the AFTO 781 forms and GO81 I have documented performed maintenance on the aircraft.
  • Through OJT and education, I have gained experience and knowledge in Aircraft Systems related to the KC-135R to include electrical and hydraulic.
  • Other skills, which I have acquired, are mechanical principals related to the aircraft, aircraft maintenance management, data reporting and the use of aircraft technical publications and diagrams.
  • In my current duties I'm responsible for the daily inspections, servicing and airworthiness preparations for my assigned aircraft.
  • This includes pre-flights, through-flights, and home station checks.
  • Other duties as assigned include, and not limited too, maintaining one of the de-ice trucks, ensure proper documentation has been filled out post de-icing, and proper forms are used monthly.
