Volunteer and member Aug 2011Present Future Educators of America Miami, FL I am currently a member, president, and volunteer of Future Educators of America. I have been in this organization at my school since 9th grade and it has helped me grow in different ways as a person. Accomplishments that the organizations has done are mainly those of giving back to the less fortunate students in Miami-Dade County. We have raised over 250 books for an elementary school that have a large minority rate and lack of funding. The organization has even done several holiday treats for teachers and students on Halloween or Teacher Appreciation Week. We have done several tutoring programs as well within our community and have been able to serve an education to those students that lack focus or drive. As far as being president, I have just recently taken this title and am planning for big things throughout my last year with this amazing organization.
