  • Sales calls and direct mailers: contacting bride and grooms to set appointments to visit the store and select styles and colors for their men's formalwear for their upcoming wedding.
  • Booking weddings: dressing up mannequins, answering questions and finalizing styles and colors the bride and groom have chosen for their men's formalwear(i.e. should the groom look different than his wedding party etc.)
  • Cash drawer: checking that drawer is at designated amount at the beginning and end of my shifts.
  • Open and closing: arriving on time to open store each day scheduled and closing at scheduled time and no earlier ensuring all lights and equipment are turned off and doors are completely locked.
  • Checking in suit/tuxedo rentals: verify styles sent from warehouse match what each wedding party has confirmed on wedding registration, quality checking rentals, checking for any coat sleeve alterations and putting away with matching shoes once quality check is complete.
  • Final fittings: assisting in wedding parties trying on their formalwear rentals, making adjustments as needed(i.e. coat sleeve/pant alterations, new shirt sizes, new shoe sizes), re-ordering new pieces if necessary and reminding wedding parties of return dates.
  • Return days: checking that all rentals have been returned with all pieces( i.e. vests, ties, coats) with no damages, breaking down returned rentals, sorting pieces into separate bags and cleaning and putting away shoes that were sent out with rentals.
  • Return receipts and surveys: once rentals have been checked over on return days we give customer receipt for return and survey card to give feedback on how we can improve.
