Assistant Comptroller and HR Manager Dec 2013Present Kristen Distributing Company Bryan, TX Assume responsibility in absence of Comptroller.  Perform all duties assigned by the Comptroller.  Create, enter, and report Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission monthly report. Key in monthly Journal entries in accounting software, Peach Tree. Release of all wire transfers and EFT payments as necessary for Comptroller. Prepare, key in, and cut checks for all weekly accounts payables.  Responsible for all Accounts Payable; EFT payments from web-based system, Onbase, to Peach Tree, invoice posting (suppliers, vendors, employees), invoice payments, etc. Assist with Accounts Receivable; EFT payments form suppliers and vendors.  Review monthly Chain Reports as necessary for accuracy.  Assist in preparation of the budget. Responsible for Quarterly reports; Payroll (941 , TWC, 940) and Compliance.  Manage annual reports for MillerCoors and NBWA (National Beverage Whole seller's Association).  Manage office staff when necessary.  Assist with IT issues and concerns.  
Oversee all aspects of Human Resources.  Manage HR assistant in regards to all duties as assigned as it relates to Human Resources.  Maintain all communication pertaining to company policies and procedures.  Recruit and hire for open positions. Oversee updated job descriptions; assist in classifying positions and/or reclassifying positions as needed. Create and implement proper training for Hiring, Sexual Harassment, Employee Retention, Benefits, 401K. etc.  Oversee maintenance of DOT, TABC, and CDL compliance.  Oversee payroll for both hourly and salary. Ensure proper benefits and 401K are being offered to employees. Manage and setup Open Enrollment in regards to insurance. Maintain OSHA Compliance Reports and audits. Oversee quarterly safety concerns and training.

Associate Director Oct 2012Dec 2013 Chartwells/Compass Group College Station, TX Assume management responsibility in absence of Director for Catering, Beverage, and the University Club. Oversee all aspects of the three offices; supervise, and monitor event requests received by Coordinators, train all Associates (salaried and hourly) on all online management software (My Finance, My Staff, My Orders, Event Master, Catertax, and Netview Point).  Actively involved in Client Relations; build and maintain a VIP clientele (President's Office, Chancellor's Office, Board of Regents, etc.), and continual customer service. Schedule and attend client meetings. Oversee event management; assist/supervise with event setup, duration, and breakdown when necessary.  Supervise and attend all events involving alcohol.  Communicating with clients to verify proper service is being provided. Oversee all schedules for the FOH Associates. Oversee, configure, and implement new online ordering system, Catertrax. Human Resources representative; payroll, insurance, 401K, vacation, performance evaluations, employee concerns, hiring/recruiting, etc. Oversee all accounting; invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, liaison between department and Corporate office, credit card purchase, department staff, and FMO.  Responsible for all Beverage (alcohol) on A&M's campus. Initial and continual contact between client's and Catering Office.  Fill out and submit Permit Requests to TABC office for all events held on permitted locations.

Assistant Manager Jul 2009Sep 2012 Annenberg Presidential Conference Center College Station, TX Assume management responsibility in absence of Director.  Responsible for the hiring of all student employees and full-time staff.  Responsible for training student employees and full-time staff in all aspects of their job requirements. Manage Event Management Software and train other staff on its proper use. Responsible for booking and maintaining facilities calendar. Manage events and conferences within facility and library grounds. Delegate work for all staff.  Ensure facility set-ups are completed accurately and in a timely manner, assisting with set-ups when needed. Responsible for all event estimates, pre-billing, and final billing.  Oversee operations, sales, and marketing; including website content, social media, etc. Participate in negotiations and contract preparations.  Participate in pre-planning meetings with clients.
