Cumberland River Hospital - Activities Coordinator Resume Example

I have worked on the Senior Care Unit at Cumberland River Hospital for 17 Years as a Activity Coordinator .  Senior Care is a 8 bed inpatient Geriatric Psych Unit which deals with various mental health issues such as, depression, Alzheimer's Disease, bi-polar disorders, and other forms of  dementia. My role is to plan and implement activities in both group settings and individual. I work closely with the Program Director, Nursing Staff, Clinical Therapist and the Psychiatrist.  Each patient has a personalized activity plan to meet their needs. I also do various other tasks in program seminars and health fairs to educate the public about the Senior Care program. I have visited various Senior Citizen Centers in the Upper Cumberland and Southern KY area providing education  and activities to older adults.
